A limited number of travel scholarships are available for attendees. Individuals may apply for one of the two types of scholarships.
Four $500 travel scholarships are available to students who wish to attend the conference.
Seven $250 travel scholarships are available to any member—including students—of a traditionally underrepresented group in science. This includes, but is not limited to, women, minorities, and persons with disabilities.
The deadline to submit for a Travel Scholarship has now passed.
Interested applicants must prepare a 500 word essay on two single spaced pages describing their interest in the conference, what they expect to achieve by attending, and what they hope to contribute to the conference.
Applicants must indicate which of the two scholarship types they are applying for.
Applications must be submitted as a word or PDF document using the upload form on this page.
Submissions will be reviewed by the program committee and winners will be selected and notified in advance of the conference. Award recipients are required to attend the conference in order to receive these travel support funds
